Signatone Ceramic Blade Probe

Sample: Ceramic Blade Probe,(2) SSMA connectors and cables, and SBC-PMA

The Ceramic Coaxial Blade Probe is typically used when probing at extreme temperatures. The ceramic blade and specialized mounting assure minimal movement caused by thermal expansion.

The Signatone Coaxial Blade Probe is designed for use on all Signatone probe stations. Designed for stable probing of devices at high temperatures, the probes may be used at temperatures up to +300°C, measurements up to +600°C when used in conjunction with the Signatone “Heat-Shield”. The coaxial structure permits ceramic guarded blade probe tips to be mounted on Signatone micropositioners. The guarded ceramic blade probes allow low leakage measurements to <25fA. Dual SSMA connections allow Quasi Kelvin connections for sensitive resistance measurements or ground loop jumpers between multiple probes allowing G-S and G-S-G for higher frequencies.

The 50 OHM STRIPLINE REPLACEMENT PROBES

offered by Signatone include a 50 ohm controlled impedance ceramic blade probe for critical measurement applications.

These probes are of stripline construction with a metalized back for signal shielding.

The probe enables the signal path

from the device under test to be directly connected to the micro-coaxial cable via the two SSMA connectors (typically terminating in BNC on the other end of the cables- connectors are selectable at time of purchase).

The S-CBP has a small mounting post at the one end that couples with the Signatone SCB-PMA (Probe Mount Adapter) The SBC-PMA can be bent or cut to the desired length accommodating virtually any probing configuration.
