The story
Thermal characterization on-wafer is unforgiving. The chuck has to hit a temperature setpoint, hold it, and not break calibration on the probes above it as the system cycles through hundreds of degrees of range.
Signatone has developed and manufactured thermal chuck systems in-house for more than 50 years. The S-1080 Thermal Controller drives the full chuck family with 0.1 °C resolution, covering −60 °C to +300 °C depending on chuck selection, on 100 mm to 300 mm chucks.
Triple safety circuits prevent thermal runaway, and GPIB / RS-232 / TCP-IP interfaces integrate the controller with your parameter analyzer and chiller software.
