Signatone has shipped continuously since 1968. The website you're reading right now is the first time in the company's history we've taken the marketing surface as seriously as we take the bench engineering.
We weren't unhappy with the old site, exactly. It catalogued what we make. But it didn't communicate what we *do* — which is engineering, in the long and unfashionable sense of that word. Heads and chucks and positioners that are still in service forty years after we shipped them, run by labs that buy from us a second time because the first one didn't break.
So we rebuilt. Cleaner taxonomy, real specs on every page, a quote form that respects the engineer's time. Sixty years in, still answering the phone. Take a look — and if you see something that's wrong, write us. The engineer who answers will be the same one who designed it.
